New Ladies 1's Coach!

Team Bath Buccaneers Hockey Club proudly introduces Christian Moody as the new coach for our ladies' 1st Team. Christian is a dynamic, creative and dedicated coach. He currently leads as the TBB Talent Academy Girls Lead Coach and has previously contributed as the TBB Ladies 1st XI Assistant Coach. His background includes serving as a Talent Development Coach at Guildford Hockey Club, working with various clubs, university teams, and talent pathway teams, as well as holding full-time coaching positions at schools in the UK and South Africa.

Christian is also a participant in the England Hockey Advanced Coach Programme (Level 3) while pursuing his studies at Bath University. His comprehensive playing experience includes representing the University of Bath, TBB, Guildford HC, and Northwood Crusaders in South Africa.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the appointment, Christian remarked, "I'm thrilled to take on the role of TBB Ladies 1st XI Coach and to start working with the players in preparation for the upcoming season in July."

Ian Cordwell, Head of Performance, expressed confidence in Christian's capabilities, stating, "This is an ambitious appointment given Christian's youth, but we are highly confident that he will be instrumental in developing players to excel in their game. He brings innovative ideas to propel the team forward. We anticipate an exciting season and wish Christian the best in the WNL Conference West’.
