Vacant Positions in the Junior Talent Centre
Team Bath Buccaneers Hockey Club seeks to recruit ambitious and motivated individuals for its highly successful Junior Talent Centre (JTC).
The JTC offers sessions for age groups ranging from U8s to U16s, ensuring that all teams train and compete regularly. Numerous teams achieve success by reaching County, Regional, and National Finals, while others participate in local leagues. The Club is dedicated to providing competitive matches for players across all levels.
For the 2025-2026 season, the JTC is seeking lead coaches, assistant coaches, volunteer coaches, umpires, or individuals interested in supporting the team by managing a side alongside coaches. Those who complete an umpire or coaching course and subsequently coach or umpire within the JTC or Senior club for a season are entitled to a pre-set bursary, in addition to their umpiring or coaching rate. Courses are available on England Hockey's Hub and, under the new EH Membership scheme, many will be free of charge to members.
If you are interested in coming on board, please contact Keith Walters: Message Keith Walters for an initial discussion. Or if you are still unsure, watch Millie and Sam, 2 of our younger JTC coaches, highlight the positives of coaching by clicking HERE
Anyone working with U18s at the Club must complete a Safeguarding Course appropriate to their role, as advised by the Club, and hold a DBS for TBBHC, facilitated through the Welfare Officer.
