Match Report |
On Sunday 12th November, Bath Buccaneers played away against Gloucester city hockey club. Bath got off to a slow start conceding a goal in the first 10 minutes. However, buccs woke up and started to string some good play together despite some good saves from man of the match Kelz Bowden (gk) Bath buccsconceded a further two goals. Bath didn’t keep going and then after a period of pressure including a short corner came under pressure again and conceded just before half term. After a stern team talk bath buccs came back fighting in the second half with some long periods of pressure and solid defending to keep Gloucester from scoring. In the later stages of the match there were some good runs made up both flanks with an excellent cross from Tess Hannah. I match ended 4-0 however this score line doesn’t reflect how bath turned it around in the second half to play some of their best hockey of the season.
