Bath kept the pressure on top of the table Cardiff with a 4-1 win over Isca. The Buccaneers started well with a good amount of possession in Isca’s half. Eventually the breakthrough came from a lovely reverse stick finish from Lewis Jowett. Not long after it was 2-0. Bath's Matt Boote won possession high up the pitch, played a one-two with Ben Stone and then sent the ball into the top left hand corner. However just before halftime, Isca pulled one back via a short corner making the halftime score 2-1. After a lengthy halftime team talk, Bath were quick out the blocks and played some wonderful hockey at times. Matt Boote won a penalty stroke after his shot was blocked on the line by one of the Isca players. Ben Mackey did the rest to make it 3-1 to Bath. Soon after it was 4-1 as Bath counter attacked from an Isca short corner with Lewis Jowett finishing off the sublime team move. Another important win ahead of the big game next week against Cardiff, where Bath will be hoping for another good performance and three points.
