Fees Information (2011/12)

The Team Bath Buccaneers HC membership payment scheme does not directly correlate to a membership fee plus match fee system. The scheme should be seen as a membership fee for the person to play hockey, not a fee for a particular number of games.
The following additional notes should be considered:-

1. Registration
All players, without exception, must register or re-register on the club database via the Club's website. Click the JOIN button on the left.
2. Availability
Playing more games means better value for money. Players should make themselves available for as many games as possible throughout the season, including mixed, badgers, cup, league and friendlies.
3. Match Fees
Members paying the annual fees for Senior, Student/Reduced or School Children (playing regular senior league hockey) do not pay match fees. Junior Academy juniors pay a £5 match fee for any senior league matches direct to Captains.
4. Casual Members
Casual members are allowed 5 matches, at £12 per game, before being asked to join the club on one of the appropriate rates. The casual fees paid up until that time will be deducted from the membership fee. The casual member match fee should be paid directly to the Captain on match day.
5. Method of Payment
Selected method of payment must be noted at the time of renewing your membership via the online system and paid direct to the Director of Finance. No payment will be accepted without a member’s unique ID reference. No payments will be accepted by Captains apart from the £12 casual member match fee.
6. Rebate of Fees Due to Injury
Members that have a long term injury and have missed games are entitled to a rebate. This can be done by the member contacting the appropriate Club Captain (not team Captain) who will then discuss the matter with the Director of Finance. Playing records will be checked and an appropriate rebate, usually a full monthly figure, will be arranged direct from the Director of Finance. Rebates will always be in blocks of 4 games.
7. Family Discount
A family discount is available on a buy two get one free basis. This is based on the free membership being the cheapest of the three and one of the other memberships being a full or reduced membership.
8. Mileage Reimbursement
The current club mileage rate is 17.5p per mile. TBBHC has an approved mileage for each fixture which can be viewed under “Club Recommended Mileages” in the “Documents” area of the Website. This mileage is calculated using the AA website. Drivers will be reimbursed automatically and directly twice per year, at Christmas and at the end of the season. In exceptional circumstances players may request earlier payment through Club Captains
